Location:
The Brahmaputra river is the largest monument of 3.00km from Sadar upazila of Mymensingh district. The position of Char-Ishwardia Union, located in the northern part of Mymensingh, is in the north. Char Ishwaria Union has been established as the only industrial center among the Mymensingh Sadar upazila for its geographical location.

Volume :
The size of the union is 21.67 sq km. There are total 09 villages in the union, namely: Char Haripur, Char Laxmipur, Char Goddia, Char Jhagra, Char Gobdia, Char Kalibari, Alalpur, Bajitpur, Char Barobilla. There are 6 mouzas in this union, respectively: Char Ishwaria Mouza, Char Haripur Mouza, Char Laxmipur Mouza, Char Sehra Mowa, Char Barobilla Mouza and Bajitpur Mouza. Total land area: 7737 acres, land area: 494.11 acres, settlementable land area: 29.885 acres, total agricultural land: 567 acres, total non-agricultural land: 2065 acres.

Population:
The total population of the union is 50044. Male 2580 and female 24764 About 35% of the population lives below the poverty line. The number of poor families in the union is 1545. 70% Muslims in the population, 25% Hindus and other communities 5%.
